Position Details
About the role:
This position will provide administrative support to the Asset Planning unit in the delivery of departmental objectives. Attention to detail and teamwork underpins success in this role as well as demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively. The role provides wide-ranging administrative, secretariat, and support functions. Project support activities include project, contract and procurement administration tasks, communications and stakeholder liaison and data processing, analysis and reporting.
The position will collaborate closely with the wider functional branches of the Victorian Department of Health, central government agencies and publicly funded health services across Victoria.

- Well organised: experienced in project and administrative work and able to plan and prioritise work to ensure outcomes are achieved?
- Able to ensure quality of written communications and that the content achieves their purpose, using appropriate style and formats.
- Undertake administrative and project work to support the Asset Planning team in its initiatives relating to health infrastructure planning.
- Assist in providing advice, reasoned recommendations and innovative solutions to issues based on research.
- Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and ongoing consultation, communication and collaboration to facilitate a partnership approach.
Qualifications / Specialist Expertise
Specialist Expertise
- Experience with administration and/or supporting project management activities is essential.
- Experience with asset management is well regarded
- An understanding of the Victorian health system, and knowledge of the department and its operating processes and information systems is well regarded.
