Position Details


The Director, Health Services Data plays a key executive role responsible for leadership, strategic planning and operational oversight of the Department's major health service data collections and associated systems.

The position operates in a complex and dynamic environment, requiring a capacity to exercise sound judgement, authoritatively plan and effectively manage health service data collections and associated information systems from health services entities across the sector.

As a member of the division's Executive Leadership Team (ELT), the Director will help to shape and deliver VAHI's divisional plan through the effective management of the team, it's functions and stakeholders.

The successful applicant will build and maintain effective working relationships with health services, departmental business units, and other State/Territory and national bodies in support of the collection, quality control and dissemination of information to serve stakeholder requirements.
