Position Details

Number of vacancies available: 1 x full time (76 hours per fortnight) fixed-term for 12 months

Position Summary:

This position will lead the development of early years policies and service delivery reforms to improve outcomes for vulnerable infants and children. This position works closely with Children and Families Reform, and with the Department of Education and Training to develop evidence-informed policies and approaches to reduce abuse and neglect and to support vulnerable children to thrive. You will manage a small team and also oversee service delivery and transition of early years programs to the new child and family services system.

The role requires a resilient and effective leader who can lead change in an ambiguous environment to improve outcomes for infants and children at risk. This position will engage with and work closely with the Department of Education and Training, Children and Family Reforms and other parts of the department to develop high quality solutions to early childhood development issues for at risk and vulnerable children.
