Summary:

The Asset Planning Services Unit is responsible for operational asset planning for property improvements, developments, sales, acquisitions and management. In consultation with stakeholders, asset decisions are programmed for maintenance, property upgrades and development projects. The unit provides real estate services to buy, sell and lease properties and manages lease and service arrangements. It also ensures corporate asset requirements are met and provides environmental management services to the department.

Reporting to the Team Leader, Asset Planning, the Senior Asset Planning Officer is responsible for developing and implementing asset plans to support the department's broader strategic objectives. The role involves knowledge and analysis of relevant asset information and coordination of planning processes to drive investment decisions across all Director of Housing and Secretary Assets.
