Senior Solicitor

 

A position is available in the Legal Services Branch for a senior lawyer in the Corporate Team. The Corporate Team provides practical, outcome-focused legal advice and support across a broad range of areas such as contract law and tendering, administrative law, IT and IP law, litigation, employment law (including OH&S), FOI & privacy, health law.

 

As a Senior Solicitor in the Corporate Team you will be required to provide authoritative timely and practical legal advice, and support other solicitors in the branch, and take the lead on a variety of legal projects. You will also prepare contracts and advice to clients. Your advice must be clear, accurate and appropriate to meeting the client's needs. You will also be required to engage and oversee external legal firms in meeting the needs of Departmental clients'.
