Position Summary:

The Manager, Business Technology Strategy will manage a team of service designers and be responsible for the development of the department's business technology strategy and investment portfolio. This unit is required the lead strategic advisory services and work collaboratively across Business Technology & Information Management, the department, other government agencies and the health and human services sectors. The unit must drive strategic engagement and ensure that technology is integral to the departments' strategic planning.  The unit is also responsible for designing new business systems and technology infrastructure for the department.

The successful applicant will have demonstrated a track record of creating collaborative, outcomes-oriented, behaviours in a large complex organisational setting, leading teams to successfully deliver planning, strategy, design and technology projects and developing the capability and performance of a team.
