Position Summary:

As part of the Chief Information Officer's Directorate in the Business Technology and Information Management branch and reporting to the Manager Directorate, the Senior Communications Officer provides guidance across the ICT project portfolio and organisation on effective internal communication and community management; and develops effective relationships to deliver effective and engaging communications across the organisation.

  • A collaborator who can develop strong internal and external relationships and become a trusted adviser?
  • Skilled in translating user needs into a coherent and practical communications program?
  • Able to influence decision-makers to support the need for communication through use of correct tone, style, and arguments?
