Position Summary:


The Senior Policy Officer will join the newly established EDRMS project team to asses and update all existing information and records management standards, policies, business rules and procedures in preparation for the deployment of HPE CM9 within the department.

In addition, the role will be responsible for undertaking a review of the department's

  • approach to converting hardcopy documents to digital format, and then disposing of the source documents.
  • Business Classification Scheme (BCS)

Are you

  • experienced in reviewing and updating government policies and other strategic documents?
  • able to demonstrate an in-depth knowledge in records management and relevant policies and legislations?
  • a strong communicator who can effectively lead on policy and engage multiple stakeholders?
  • a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills who can provide expert advice on complex recordkeeping issues?
  • experienced in working in dynamic environments and able to adapt to changing and often challenging priorities?
