Position Summary:

The Chief Data Officer (CDO) provides a central point of leadership for the way that the department's data and information assets are collected, managed, used and made available to stakeholders. The CDO is also the Assistant Director of the Data and Information Management Unit within the Business Technology and Information Management branch of the Corporate Services division.

Key domains of interest for the role include data and information management governance, policies, standards and best practices as well as strategies to better manage data quality, sharing, access and release arrangements and also to better enable analytics and reporting capabilities across the department.
