Please Note: Working one or two days from another DHHS location within metropolitan Melbourne may be feasible by agreement
Position Summary:

Over the next two years, the transfer of the majority of the department's disability services will have a significant impact on the size and operating models of the department. We are developing a range of initiatives targeted at ‘back of house' staff who currently support our disability programs and workforce. These initiatives are designed to:

  • support alignment of the department's workforce to changing operational requirements over the period to 2021;
  • enable departmental staff to pursue productive employment and careers within the department, the Victorian Public Service, or the wider public sector; and
  • provide staff with a great experience of change, including opening up new and interesting career pathway and development options

This position will coordinate activities associated with the design and management of centralised staff reassignment processes and talent pools providing internal capability for short-term projects.

  • Able to bring contemporary HR specialist expertise and experience to the creation of detailed business rules, processes, and implementation plans associated with management of staff mobility?
  • A collaborator with a ‘can do' attitude and pragmatic approach to complexity?
  • A compelling communicator, with strong abilities in engaging a variety of stakeholders and developing clear written communication?
