Position Summary:

Manager, Workforce Management

The Customer Support Branch and Corporate Services Division are embarking on a program to uplift service delivery and capability across key service areas. 

The Manager, Workforce Management is accountable for developing and ensuring the right resource management capability exists within the Customer Support Branch. The role will develop frameworks and tools to forecast and undertake capacity planning and scheduling functions in order to meet the resourcing needs of our customers and to ensure we have the right skills in the right places at the right time.

The Manager, Workforce Management, will through the development of tools and frameworks and workforce planning reports (including absenteeism for analysis of project work), support Managers and Team Leaders to ensure that service delivery is timely, effective and efficient and meets customer demands.

The role will also act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the implementation of an Enterprise Service Management Platform and will lead a small workforce management team.

  • An experienced workforce manager who can lead others in developing and implementing frameworks, process and capability improvements
  • A strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop and implement projects/initiatives
  • Able to engage, inform, influence and negotiate with stakeholders
