Team Leader, Workers Compensation and Injury Management, NDIS

Position Summary:

This position plays an integral role in supporting disability residential service participants, families and staff during transition to the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and transfer of services to the non-government sector. We are looking for an outcomes focused Team Leader to lead the development and implementation of strategies and processes to support, prepare and facilitate a smooth and positive transfer during the transfer readiness phase.  Post-transfer of services the role transforms into a monitoring role requiring extensive liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that workers compensation and return to work obligations are being managed appropriately by the new service providers. 

The Team Leader will work as part of a small team and will report to the Principal Project Manager – NDIS Transition OHS and WorkCover Compliance. Working as part of a small, dynamic and highly flexible team, the Team Leader will have a passion for achieving outcomes and applying their skills and knowledge across a range of complex and sensitive workers compensation and return to work matters to deliver these outcomes. This challenging space will require your strong relationship and time management skills. Your genuine passion for leading practice and innovative communications strategies, teamed with your ability to creatively solve problems and adapt easily to changing circumstances is a must.
