Position Summary:

The Senior Practice Leader will be an integral member of the leadership team, providing expertise in the delivery of trauma informed care to young people accommodated at Secure Welfare Services.  They will support a highly skilled staffing team who provide care and support to a complex client group. The leadership and planning provided to staff and young people will be trauma informed and will assist them to work collaboratively in a therapeutic way. Many clients of the service have multiple and complex needs, they have typically been exposed to traumatic events and chronic disadvantage and may as a consequence present with challenging behaviours.
