Position Summary:

 

Field Services Officers (FSOs) operate within the Department of Health & Human Services divisional Housing Offices and undertake building inspections and assessments of the condition of public housing and community housing properties. FSOs must have an appropriate trade qualification and skills to operate the department's computerised information systems. FSOs provide reports and recommendations on maintenance requirements to public housing properties and program priorities, arrange quotations and tender specifications for capital works programs, disability modifications and issue and manage works orders to contractors.
