Position Summary:

The Information Sharing Unit in the Department of Health and Human Services brings together a number of work functions. The unit requires motivated and skilled staff, competent in administration and the use of the CRIS client management system for Child Protection.

The Senior Program Advisor will be part of the team supporting the exchanging of sensitive information to entities under the information sharing schemes and agreements and information sharing between Child Protection and the Department of Justice and Community Safety Working with Children Check Unit. The Unit will also support the exchanging of sensitive information to entities under the information sharing schemes and agreements. 

This position requires a high level of familiarity and competency using CRIS for Child Protection, strong interpersonal skills and a capacity to work quickly and accurately.

  • An experienced child protection practitioner who can use your strong CRIS and administrative skills to assist with a high-profile legislative implementation?
  • Are you fast, accurate and able to problem solve? 
  • Experienced in working in highly sensitive and dynamic environments and able to adapt to changing and often challenging priorities?
