Position Summary:

As a Disability Support Worker, you will support children, ages range from primary to middle secondary school age with a disability and other complex support requirements to achieve their personal goals and aspirations while working closely with specialists who will support the team to work with the children and their families.

You will assist the client's to actively participate within their local communities, directly support the wellbeing of your clients through understanding their needs, preferences and interests. Providing a range of support services including personal care, health, exercise and community experiences, you will enable your clients to live a quality life with dignity, respect and social inclusion.

As an effective communicator with well-developed listening skills, you will be an organised person who likes to work within a multidisciplinary team environment. Showing concern for others and a genuine interest in supporting people to achieve their potential, you are an honest person striving to make a difference in the community.
