Family Safety Victoria is the first government agency dedicated to ending family violence. It will deliver key initiatives to help protect, support and identify risk for those impacted by family violence and hold perpetrators to account. We also coordinate access to services that support vulnerable children and families. Position Summary:

Analyst

Working closely with the Senior Analyst and the guidance of the Manager, Demand, Performance and Reporting you will bring your technical expertise and demonstrated competency in data analytics and reporting to drive and undertake detailed performance reporting for the Orange Door.

You will closely work with data custodians within Family Safety Victoria, the Department of Health and Human Services to produce high quality and robust performance reports.  You will bring familiarity with existing social services data collection and reporting processes, and confidence that you are quickly able to become familiar and navigate data collected through the Orange Door Client Relationship Management System. Where required, this will include navigation and cleaning of existing data sets, and undertaking in-depth analysis of service delivery data for the Orange Door and its core services, using industry standard tools such as SQL, Analysis services, Excel, R and SAS.

As part of the team you will bring your ideas and contribute to the refinement, ongoing development and implemention of innovative approaches to the presentation of analysis that will support service delivery, senior management and key stakeholders to understand performance and demand for the Orange Door and its core services.  The information and reports you produce will be provided to all levels of Orange Door governance and will also be used as input into other reporting processes such as budget, annual reporting and parliamentary updates.

You will collaborate with counterparts across government to bring together full picture of integrated service delivery through the Orange Door, core and partner services.  You will work effectively and collaboratively to improve the evidence available and its use by stakeholders to inform service delivery, service improvement, budget and performance decisions.
