Position Summary:

The Project Officer – Active Recreation supports the development and delivery of initiatives by Community Sport and Recreation that focus on building relationships across government, health, sport and active recreation to develop and promote opportunities to increase levels of physical activity through active recreation, educate and motivate individuals in order to enable change, reinforce and maintain positive behaviours so more Victorians can enjoy the benefits of being active and more healthy.  

Opportunities to increase levels of physical activity may be developed in consultation or partnership with other sections of Community Sport and Recreation, active recreation bodies, state sporting associations, organisations with a preventative health focus, and other key stakeholders.
