Position Summary:

The Stakeholder Engagement and Communications Advisor is responsible for developing and implementing an integrated communications and stakeholder relations program to support delivery of key these community housing sector focused initiatives within Homes for Victorians, the government housing strategy. These initiatives includes the management transfer project which will transfer the management responsibility of 4,000 public housing dwellings to registered community housing agencies on a long term basis and the delivery of the Social Housing Growth Fund, the Low Interest Loans and Government Guarantee programs that have been designed to increase the level of social and affordable accommodation provided by registered housing agencies.

The role will provide expert guidance to a small team, maintaining high standards and prioritising workflow across multiple projects, and promoting a strategic approach to communications across the branch. The role will also be required to brief, engage and manage consultants, including stakeholder engagement consultants.
