 74-78 Queen Street, Bendigo (work location is negotiable, however the role requires time to be spent in all three locations; Bendigo, Ballarat and Benalla)
Position Summary:

This position sits within the Priority Projects Team which is responsible for providing advice on investment strategies to inform decisions making for capital allocation. The preparation of these strategies sits within DTF's high value high risk framework to justify the investment decision and to comply with VAGO requirements and strong engagement with key stakeholders to scope and vision the renewal of sites, build ownership and create value for future projects.

The Principal Project Manager, Regional Cities, will be responsible for the management of key regional government housing projects and initiatives to deliver on estate renewal and revitalization, in particular the Ballarat, Bendigo and Benalla Regional Estates Renewal Program.

The role involves maintaining collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, particularly the Bendigo, Ballarat and Benalla  Regional Councils, Strategic Planning and Policy, the formulation of new asset strategies, the provision of professional advice, management of project staff, external service providers and key stakeholders feasibility modelling, the development of strategic investment frameworks, robust procurement processes, budget and cash flow management, reporting and risk management.

  • Able to maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders
  • A technical expert in the structuring and delivery of renewal projects
