Position Summary: 

Principal Project Manager (Master-planning and Engagement)

The Principal Project Manager (Master-planning and Engagement) will play a key role in projects that will increase and improve stock within the Director of Housing's public housing portfolio. The successful applicant will have an excellent understanding and experience in master-planning, the planning scheme amendment process and the Planning Panels Victoria Panel/ Advisory Committee process. 

The role also involves working collaboratively with key stakeholders, particularly the relevant Councils, public housing tenants and neighbours. It will involve extensive and well thought through community engagement to inform renewal and town planning decisions. 

The Master-Planning and Engagement team are also responsible for leading and providing advice regarding town planning policy and process improvements as they relate to facilitating the development of public housing in Victoria. 

The role will involve providing professional advice regarding the Victorian Planning Provision and the Planning and Environment Act 1987, managing consultants and contracts and the consideration of asset management data to inform renewal projects. It also includes being responsible for delivering robust procurement processes, budget and cash flow management, reporting and risk management.
