Position Summary: 

Project Officer – Strategy and Business Development

The Project Officer (Strategy and Business Development) position plays a key support role generating a pipeline of programs and projects to upgrade, replace, and increase the Director of Housing's social housing stock.

The role also involves working collaboratively with key stakeholders, particularly the relevant Councils, community housing sector and internal staff. It will involve planning, organising and attending workshops with key stakeholders. 

The successful applicant will be highly organised and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. 

Experience or a strong desire to develop skills in strategic thinking, project management, and stakeholder engagement is also essential to the role.

Situated in the Strategy and Business Development team, the role will also responsible for providing advice regarding new approaches and process improvements as they relate to asset planning for facilitating the development. This will involve preparing written material, including Ministerial correspondence and briefings, that are informative and accurate.
