Position Summary:

The position leads the negotiation and management of the performance monitoring strategy relating to the delivery of rural healthcare in Victoria. The role fosters positive working relationships with policy and program areas across the Department and ensures the effective engagement of internal and external stakeholders. Proven problem solving skills and an ability to synthesise complex information to facilitate decision making is essential. The position reports to the Assistant Director, Policy, Projects and Strategy. Highly effective influencing and negotiation skills, collaboration and relationship management are critical to the role.

Are you:

  • A highly effective communicator  with strong interpersonal skills that underpin your ability to foster  effective collaborative working relationships
  • An experienced leader in providing clear concise advice at the highest levels on complex and politically sensitive issues
  • An experienced strategic  thinker with a demonstrated ability to apply risk management framework and  principles
