Position Summary:

The Manager, Performance, Quality and Governance, plays a key leadership role and is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the performance monitoring and specified program interface functions for rural and regional health services situated in the Grampians region.   

The role focuses on collaboration, partnerships, continuous service monitoring, quality improvement and improved models of service delivery and provides support and advice to the boards of management of rural health services.

Reporting to the Assistant Director, Rural and Regional Health Performance North and West, the role also works actively and in collaboration with the relevant divisional health director to drive sustainable improvements in quality health service delivery and system improvement.

The Manager, Performance, Quality and Governance, Grampians region also has operational oversight responsibilities for the Victorian Patient Transport Assistance Scheme and the Ballarat based team who administer this state wide program.
