Position Summary:


Reporting to the Manager Strategic Projects, the Senior Project Officer will contribute to the delivery of a range of discrete strategic projects as identified by Korin Korin Balit-Djak: Aboriginal Health, Wellbeing and Safety Strategic Plan, government priorities across program areas and broader government initiatives. This will include contributing to establishing and maintaining robust relationships and processes that supports the development and implementation of Aboriginal led health and human services policy, programs and services, aligned with Aboriginal self-determination.


The work will require translating stakeholder engagement with internal and external stakeholders, including Aboriginal communities, into effective project and policy design.

  • Experienced in engaging and working collaboratively with government, Aboriginal and mainstream community-based health and human service to improve outcomes for Aboriginal people?
  • Skilled in leading, managing and co-designing strategic projects?
  • Able to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a team and across teams?
