Position Summary:

The role of Senior Clinical Advisor – Allied Health, supports the Chief Psychiatrist to facilitate the provision of high quality and responsive public mental health services. The position provides clinical, operational and policy advice to the Chief Psychiatrist and responds to issues raised by mental health consumers, carers, clinicians and other service providers. The position supports the leadership and clinical safety and quality functions of the Office of the Chief Psychiatrist and in accordance with statutory obligations under the Mental Health Act 2014.

Are you

  • A person with expert knowledge and experience in mental health as a social worker or other allied health professional?
  • Able to bring enthusiasm for improved service delivery for people with mental illness?
  • Able to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders and work across the clinical sector, government departments and divisions?
