Position Summary:


The Senior Policy Officer, Nutrition, in the Prevention, Population Health and Place Branch, will provide nutrition support to the development of state-wide and community level preventive health policies, programs and interventions that reduce the impact of preventable non-communicable health conditions.  The role entails liaison with related areas within the Branch, Department and with local government, non-government organisations, researchers, industry and communities. The role will contribute to preventive health policy and programs, as determined through ongoing business planning and through responding to emerging priorities over time.
