Position Details

A great opportunity currently exists for an experienced team leader to fulfil the role of Team Leader, Adoption & Permanent Care. 

The Permanent Care Team provides a range of services including a permanent care program and an infant adoption program.

The Team Leader of the Adoption and Permanent Care Team is responsible for effective service delivery of the program which includes assessment and training of families for adoption and permanent care, assessing and preparing children for placement, placement of children, and supporting families both before and after legalisation of their placements. The role also is responsible for managing a small team of practitioners.

This position offers the successful applicant the opportunity to substantially develop and extend their already highly developed skills and knowledge in a very complex area of work that is not only interesting and diverse but also hugely rewarding.
