Position Details

Located in the Hume Moreland Area, North Division, the Principal Quality & Safety Coordinator will lead a strategic quality project to develop and imbed a clinical governance framework in the Hume Moreland Area. The role will ensure alignment of the project objectives to departmental, divisional and area priorities and plans, and establish and maintain communication processes across internal and external stakeholders to ensure broader project priorities are achieved.

The work will support new systems of systematic learning within service provider organisations and local services networks, put standards and regulation, policy and program design in touch with local learning for whole-system improvement and establish clear accountabilities across a range of system actors (including regulators and oversight authorities) for service and system performance.  

As a senior staff member, you will be responsible for this complex project and stakeholder interactions, under the direction of the Manager, Population Health and Community Wellbeing and in close partnership with the Hume Moreland Executive team.

  • Able to demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and able to build productive relationships?
  • A strategic thinker, able to work through complex issues and provide clear, structured, evidence based responses?
  • Experienced in high level information provision, including advanced written communication?
