Position Summary:

The Project Officer will provide support to the child protection projects in the Office of Professional Practice. The position is for 24 months at a VPS 4 level and located at 50 Lonsdale Street Melbourne.

Working in a team, the range of duties includes project support for the work to address child sexual exploitation for children known to child protection and supporting projects to improve child protection practice. The successful candidate will be an experienced child protection practitioner, proficient with the CRIS data base and able to work quickly and accurately. Experience working in project roles will be considered an advantage.

  • An experienced child protection practitioner who can use your strong CRIS, administrative and case management skills to work within a fast paced, child protection team?
  • Are you fast, accurate and able to problem solve?  
  • Experienced in working in highly sensitive and dynamic environments and able to adapt to changing and often challenging priorities?
