Position Summary: 

The Child Protection Unit undertakes service development and design and practice and service support for child protection. The unit supports ongoing implementation of the reforms associated with the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005 across the statutory child protection system through the development and design of service interventions to improve outcomes for vulnerable children, young people and their families. The Child Protection unit focuses on the development of legislation, policy, protocols and practice advice to support service delivery and respond to operational trends.

  • Knowledgeable and have experience in Victoria's child protection system?
  • An excellent communicator with high level written and analytical skills?
  • Experienced in the development and implementation of policy and program initiatives?
