Position Summary:

The paralegal role performs a critical role in supporting the Child Protection Litigation Office's teams of solicitors who provide legal advice, case management and representation for the Child Protection Program. Reporting to the Unit Manager, the paralegal duties include performing file and record management tasks, coordinating court listings, case allocations and barrister briefing, and assisting with legal correspondence and preparation. This role supports the delivery of expert legal support and makes a valued contribution to child protection practitioners for the ongoing protection of children from abuse and neglect.
