Position Summary:

Principal Policy Adviser

The Principal Policy Adviser will lead work to embed evidence-informed practice initially in child and family services, and then more broadly in the community services sector. As a member of the innovative Evidence Strategy team, the Principal Policy Adviser will lead the work to develop, test and evaluate evidence-informed practices and to develop and implement the menu of evidence-informed practices and programs in child and family services. This role will also support the team in providing advice and support to colleagues across the department related to evidence-informed services and strategies to embed evidence in decision-making.
