Position Summary:

Project Officer, Supercare Pharmacies Initiative

The Victorian Government Supercare Pharmacies Initiative combines a 24-hour a day seven days a week pharmacy service and an evening nursing service between 6pm and 10pm. Implemented progressively in 3 stages, these 20 pharmacies are known as Supercare Pharmacies. This innovative primary health initiative aims to offer consumers with minor illness and injuries an alternative to attending a local hospital emergency department after hours.

The Project Officer provides project support for the Supercare Pharmacies Initiative and is responsible for co-ordinating a range of business activities and projects, including:

 

  • Developing, implementing and maintaining efficient project systems and processes;
  • Organising, participating in and facilitating meetings and workshops, providing secretariat support and follow up of action items; and
  • Supporting the delivery of the Initiative and sub-projects, including data collation.
  • Able to work effectively with a wide range of people?
  • Highly organised and able to juggle multiple priorities in a very dynamic, demanding and changing environment?
