Position Summary:

The Principal Project Manager is primarily responsible for delivery of an online digital service for all food businesses registered under the Victorian Food Act 1984. This online solution is a recommendation of the Small Business Regulation Review (Retail): Food Safety Reforms recommendation, 3.5 Establish an online portal for fixed premises contained in the Draft Action Statement on the Small Business Victoria website https://engage.vic.gov.au/smallbizreview/small-business-regulation-review-retail. Another recommendation of the Review is recommendation 3.3 Enhance the Streatrader website. This position will may also lead the system improvements to the department's on-line registration system for temporary and mobile food premises, Streatrader.

Reporting to the Manager, Systems and Program Development, this is a challenging role requiring the candidate to work with a broad range of stakeholders with differing needs and have proven experience delivering change management related programs. The role also requires procurement and contract management skills and a strong knowledge of IT systems. This role may also require the management of staff.
