Office Location(s):  Various - 1 Position in each DHHS Operations Division (North, South, East, West)   

Position Summary:

The Senior Regulatory Officer, located in the Operations Division, reports to the Regulatory Enforcement Team Leader, and is responsible for supporting regulated entities' compliance with relevant legislative and regulatory obligations in the region. This includes conducting monitoring activities of regulated entities, providing regulatory advice and guidance to promote compliance with legislative obligations, and implementing the full suite of regulatory tools, including sanctions, to address non-compliance.

Regulatory Enforcement teams, within the Human Services Regulator, are located in each of the four operational divisions to ensure regulated entities in each region are compliant with relevant legislative and regulatory obligations.  The Human Services Regulator delivers the state-wide regulatory enforcement program, administering a number of regulatory schemes in the health and human services portfolios.
