Position Summary:

Leading a small team of VPS staff and external contractors, the Principal Policy Manager is responsible for managing the development and implementation of the operational policy and regulatory framework for the Victorian Disability Worker Commission consistent with the Disability Services Safeguard Act 2018.

Are you:

  • A highly skilled policy writer with experience in the design and implementation of regulatory reform projects?  
  • An effective team manager; able to manage and direct work priorities to achieve high quality output within tight and inflexible timelines?
  • An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills, able to build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders?
  • Able to take a solutions-focused, strategic approach to achieving outcomes across complex systems?
