Position Summary:

Safer Care Victoria, the Office for Safety and Quality Improvement's Office Manager, provides high-level strategic advice and management support to the Director, Strategy and Implementation on a broad range of issues and projects. The position regularly liaises with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and operates with a high-level of professionalism, initiative and collaboration.

You will lead and coordinate a range of Safer Care Victoria responses and projects, establishing and maintaining professional and rigorous office systems. You will also provide critical strategic advice and analysis on areas of specific importance to the Director of Strategy and Implementation and organise the operation of Safer Care Victoria's executive group.

You will operate in a complex and demanding environment, requiring the capacity to exercise sound judgement, liaise effectively with senior executives and build relationships with key people.

Are you

  • An excellent communicator, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills?
  • A strategic thinker who can analyse complex information to identify potential risks and provide advice in a time-pressured environment?
  • Experienced in leading the delivery of budget and financial processes, records management and a risk registry?
