Position Summary:

The Senior Project Officer will work with the Manager, Incident Response Team to develop and implement the incident response program within Safer Care Victoria. This will include supporting incident investigation, response and training processes to ensure learnings translate into safer health care for all Victorians. The role will support the development and functions of an academy of experts who will provide  independent advice, leadership and support in incident response, human factors and systems safety.

Are you

  • Experienced in incident investigation and solving complex problems?
  • Proficient in the design, delivery and co-ordination of training programs?
  • An excellent communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills?
  • A team player who likes to contribute to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders to build and deliver shared commitment?
  • Passionate about improving the quality and safety of health care in Victoria?
