Position Summary:

Working in the Outcomes, Performance and Risk branch you will develop and lead key policy initiatives relating to the way the department funds externally delivered services with the aim of supporting a more integrated and person centred system. This includes connecting funding reforms with service system reforms in particular in family services and out of home care. The position will also work with key partners within the department and sector to support implementation of these reforms.

  • a team player with strong policy skills who is capable of using new ways of thinking and innovative approaches to help achieve better outcomes for children, young people and families?
  • someone with demonstrated experience in successfully implementing significant government reforms in complex operating environments?
  • open to new ideas, ways of thinking and collaboration to achieve better outcomes for vulnerable Victorians?
