Position Summary:

The role of an Advanced Disability Support Worker is tosupport the House Supervisor in managing a team of Disability Support Workers in a community group home. Acting as a 2IC to the House Supervisor, you will provided leadership, support and guidance to the team and contribute towards a positive and safe environment for clients. 

As an Advanced Disability Support Worker, you will liaise with managers and staff of government and non-government service providers, community groups, and other interested parties in relation to client related and service delivery issues. You will also contribute to the monitoring and evaluation of service performance and client outcomes.  This role requires highly developed leadership and practice knowledge to facilitate quality service outcomes in more complex environments.


Day-to-day you will be responsible for providing support and information to people with disabilities across their lifecycle and in all domains of life. Your contribution will enable people with disabilities access to a better quality life, with respect and social inclusion in the least restrictive environment.
