Senior Program Adviser

Located within the South Division, the Senior Program Adviser supports population health, service system or area-based planning approaches, addressing departmental and divisional health priorities. This role works with organisations and internal stakeholders to implement and monitor service provision or provide expert advice or portfolio-based expertise, resolve issues and facilitate the continuous improvement of the service system for all service users. This senior role contributes to improving health and well-being services or outcomes.

This position is an opportunity for a person with excellent knowledge of departmental programs, planning and relationship management skills to ensure the development of a strong area-based or population health approach to deliver key health outcomes for the division.

Are you

  • A person with knowledge and experience of implementing health policy initiatives and program development?
  • Able to negotiate, communicate and build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders in the health sector?
  • A person who co-operates and works well with others in the pursuit of team goals?
