Position Summary:


The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a new way of providing support to people with a disability. Disability Client Services accepts requests for service from the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) and under the guidance of a Team Leader, Case Managers coordinate supports and services in accordance with the goals outlined in the Participant's NDIS plan.

Case Managers provide Support Coordination to Participants of the NDIS to maximise independent lifestyles, increase wellbeing and promote the social and economic participation of individuals with a disability in the community.

Support Coordination provided by the DHHS reflects the objectives and principles of the National Disability Scheme Act 2013 and the Disability Act 2006.
