Department policy stipulates that salary upon commencement is paid at the base of the salary range for the relevant grade. Any above base requests require sign off by an executive delegate and will be by exception only or where required to match the current salary of Victorian Public Service staff transferring at level.

Position Details

An exciting opportunity exists for a Manager on a fixed-term basis in the Quality and Standards Unit.

The Rehabilitation and Reintegration Branch of the Offender Management Division is responsible for the design and development of a range of programs and services to effectively facilitate and support positive behaviour change.  

The Manager, Quality and Standards Unit is responsible for leading the development, implementation and monitoring of service delivery standards for the delivery of Rehabilitation and Reintegration services state wide. Leading the implementation and management of statewide performance measurement standards, the Manager will demonstrate innovation and best practice in the development of key frameworks that ensure correctional practice is of the highest standard.

As our ideal candidate, you will be required to demonstrate:

  • extensive experience in managing, developing, and monitoring complex service delivery environments
  • expertise in developing and implementing service and quality improvement initiatives
  • an ability to identify emerging strategic issues and effectively deliver authoritative advice to senior executive in relation to statewide and regional activity.
