About us

The Built Environment and Business Sustainability (BEBS) operates within the Finance Infrastructure and Governance division of the Department of Justice and Regulation. BEBS is responsible for the centralised supply and delivery of the following services:

  • property and infrastructure projects
  • buildings and accommodation
  • environmental policy, practices and performance
  • financial governance and commercial support
  • asset management and maintenance
  • vehicle fleet administration, records management and mailroom services.

About the role

As the Procurement Officer, you will assist the Procurement Manager in leading the strategic sourcing and delivery of expert contract management, along with providing guidance and assistance with procurement knowledge and skills across BEBS to ensure compliant and consistent procurement management, in line with policy frameworks.

This fantastic ongoing role is based in Melbourne CBD.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • advanced procurement and contract management expertise
  • excellent planning and organisational skills
  • strong stakeholder management skills on order to achieve organisational objectives.

A relevant contract management, procurement or business qualification would be highly desirable.
