- VPS Grade 4: $95,102 - $107,905 plus superannuation.
About Us:
The Financial Systems team leads the strategic development, management, and support of the department's financial systems environment, encompassing a diverse range of corporate platforms and applications. Through engagement with Finance Executive and in collaboration with the branch's cross-functional teams, the team is responsible for driving improvement and innovation in a context where user needs, financial and regulatory obligations, and integrations with other systems represent a dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
About the Role:
As a System Administration Officer, you will provide essential operational support in addressing and resolving service requests raised by users of the Oracle eBusiness Suite application. Aside from getting exposed to the departments financial system application and its sub-applications, this role will cover particular tasks including but not limited to:
- Administering and supporting the Oracle system for a diverse user base across this department and downstream interdepartmental agencies.
- Coordinating system related tasks across Oracle's integrated systems
- Collaborating with likeminded experienced technical resources to test and implement system fixes, and to proactively address emerging issues.
- Contribute towards continuous process improvements
This position requires confidence and competency in communicating with stakeholders via email and messages, and positive mindset in approaching challenges. Training and support will be provided to get you up to speed to succeed in the role.

About You:
As an ideal candidate, you will possess:
- Proficiency in enterprise system administration and optimisation.
- Familiarity with software integration, workflow configurations, and user access management.
- Experience in business analysis and system documentation best practices.
- Knowledge of system testing, troubleshooting, and interfacing methodologies.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Information Technology or Finance is desirable
