About us

Infringement Management and Enforcement Services (IMES) is a business unit within the Department of Justice and Regulation's Criminal Law Policy and Operations division. IMES is responsible for managing the end-to-end infringements system in Victoria and includes the Director, Fines Victoria, the Sheriff's Office Victoria, the Asset Confiscation Office and the operation of road safety cameras.

About the role

The position of Manager, Traffic Camera Services Compliance is accountable for the effective management of the current and future Traffic Camera Services (TCS) contracts. A key element of this role is implementing contract management strategies and responding to new and emerging strategic issues impacting on the contract management environment especially relating to changes to the contractual performances, financials and capacity.

Reporting directly to the Assistant Director, Contract Compliance, the Manager, Traffic Camera Services Compliance is primarily responsible for providing sound advice, expertise and information to stakeholders in relation to the contract management obligations of the State for Prescribed Devices and services within the IMES program functions. This position will also provide the full range of monitoring, investigating, reporting, support and contracts administration services to ensure the successful delivery of these functions.  Your responsibilities will also include:

  • developing a comprehensive contract management framework and associated policies, review, monitoring, performance and compliance of the Contractor in accordance with the specified standards, terms and conditions of the Contract
  • undertaking analysis of the contractors' performance and make recommendations on emerging trends including identifying opportunities to improve procurement outcomes, efficiency and value for money
  • providing leadership, advice and support to staff within the team.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will be required to demonstrate:

  • experience in the full management of contractor performance including the analysis, facilitation and implementation of improvements on identified issues and procedures
  • the ability to lead, develop and advise on procurement strategy
  • strong stakeholder management and consultancy skills

A relevant tertiary qualification and/or relevant experience would be highly regarded.
