About Us

The Employment Marketing team is a specialised function within Recruitment Services and is part of People and Culture at the Department of Justice and Community Safety. We manage the employer brand of the department and drive interest and applications to critical frontline roles across the state. We are a strategic partner to recruiters within the team and stakeholders across the department and use data to strategically deliver results.

About the Role

Reporting to the Team Leader – Employment Marketing and Communication, you will work closely with our Youth Justice recruiters and other key stakeholders across the state to design and develop employment marketing attraction strategies, collateral and campaigns. You will work on a wide variety of tasks and use your marketing know-how to creatively market critical roles for the state.

About You

As our successful candidate, you will demonstrate:

  • strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively influence and negotiate
  • marketing and/or recruitment experience, with experience in taking an EVP and turning it into a compelling marketing campaign - very desirable
  • sound presentation skills
  • drive and commitment
  • good teamwork skills.

A relevant tertiary qualification in Marketing and/or HR is desirable, but not mandatory.
