About us

Technology Solutions (TS) is a business unit within Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS) that provides a range of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) services and is responsible for the department's IT strategies, policies, projects, architecture, infrastructure, corporate systems and service management of IT suppliers. The branch sets the strategic direction of ICT in alignment with the business direction.

The ICT Delivery Group within TS has shared responsibility for the design, implementation and ongoing support of initiatives, architectures, policies, projects, line of business applications, digital applications, digital transactions, websites and infrastructure services (both private and cloud based). The ICT delivery group provides digital interaction between the department and its citizens, the department and businesses, and between the department and its agencies.

About the role

As the CRM Functional Analyst within the Regulation Portfolio team, you will:

  • Configure Microsoft Dynamics 365 in accordance with requirements developed during Agile Sprints.
  • Provide solutions architecture support.
  • Provide business as usual support and fixes, including technical debt caused by deprecated capability.
  • Provide plain language advice on technical issues to non-technical audiences.
  • Work with key stakeholders to identify how changing business requirements may be delivered with existing solutions and or delivered on alternative platforms.

About you

As our ideal candidate, you will have:

  • a Tertiary qualification in Software Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology (preferred)
  • demonstrated experience developing and configuring Microsoft Dynamics 365, including workflows and business process flows.
  • demonstrated experience with Power Apps, Flow, CDS, Power Platform, PowerBI, SharePoint, Exchange and Azure.
  • demonstrated experience developing complex MS Visual Studio, ASP .Net, C#, HTML5, CSS and modern JavaScript frameworks applications and APIs.
  • ability to work in an exciting fast paced environment using great cloud technologies and frameworks such as Agile and DevOps.
