About Us

The Engagement and Administration Officer is an exciting front-of-house role in the Education and Engagement Branch at the Victorian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission. The Commission works with individuals and organisations to achieve our vision of a community where every person values, understands and respects human rights and equal opportunity.

About the Role

Our ideal candidate will be multi-skilled and adaptable and thrive on the opportunity to inform the public about the Commission's services, assist with education and engagement activities, and provide accurate bookkeeping through the use of our finance systems. This role requires you to collaborate, inform and engage with the Commission's staff and external individuals, communities and organisations. It requires you to welcome with compassion and to assert the significance of our work to the public.

About You

As our successful candidate, you will have:

  • demonstrated knowledge and expertise in the operation of registration and financial databases, systems and processes
  • experience in the provision of information and client services
  • strong interpersonal skills.
